Welcoming Dr. Andrea Idili: A Week of Insightful Discussions and Innovative Research

This week, our research group has been delighted to host Dr. Andrea Idili, an esteemed Assistant Professor from the Department of Chemical Sciences and Technologies at the University of Rome Tor Vergata amb member of Francesco Ricci Research’s group. Dr. Idili's visit has already proven to be an enriching experience for our team.

Today, Dr. Idili delivered a captivating talk titled "DNA Nanotechnology Redefines Pharmacokinetics: In Vivo Biosensors for Real-Time, Continuous Drug Monitoring and Intercompartmental Transport." His presentation shed light on the remarkable advancements in DNA nanotechnology and its transformative potential in the field of pharmacokinetics.

Dr. Idili's current research is at the forefront of innovation, focusing on the development of novel DNA-based electrochemical and optical sensors. These cutting-edge sensors are designed to enable real-time, continuous monitoring of diagnostically relevant molecules, both in vitro and in vivo.
