Cansu Pinar Yenice awarded with the EMBO grant

Interfibio's PhD student Cansu Pinar Yenice has recently been awarded the EMBO Scientific Exchange grant.

EMBO is an organization of more than 2,000 leading researchers that promotes excellence in the life sciences in Europe and beyond. The major goals of the organization are to support talented researchers at all stages of their careers, stimulate the exchange of scientific information, and help build a research environment where scientists can achieve their best work.

Cansu Pinar Yenice received the grant to support her research stay at the deMello group at ETH Zürich University where she focused on combining Interfibio's sensitive solid-phase recombinant polymerase amplification platform with the high specificity of Clustered Regularly Interspaces Short Palindromic Repeats (CRISPR) to detect Human Papilloma virus (HPV) in clinical samples.
