Welcoming Aris Liboa: Advancing Sustainable Biosensors in the Food Industry
We are excited to announce a new collaboration that promises to bring innovative advancements to the food and feed industry. Aris Liboa, a dedicated Ph.D. student in Material Science and Technology at the Department of Chemical, Life, and Environmental Sustainability Sciences of the University of Parma, has joined our research group for a six-month stay. This partnership is in collaboration with the Institute of Materials for Electronics and Magnetism, National Research Council (IMEM-CNR) of Italy.
Aris's research is centered on the development of electrochemical biosensors and drug delivery systems, specifically tailored for the food and feed industry.
During his stay, Aris will be working under the supervision of Dr. Alex Fragoso. His primary focus will be on the production of biosensors made from sustainable materials. These biosensors are designed to evaluate the efficiency of vitamin encapsulation during innovative and solvent-free production processes. This research is crucial as it aims to enhance the sustainability and efficiency of food production, ensuring better quality and safety.
